Meet the Staff and Leadership

The Staff:
Bob grew up in California, but has lived all over the West Coast (yes, even Canada). He graduated from Cal Poly (San Luis Obispo) where he met his awesome wife. He went to graduate school at Regent College in Vancouver, Canada where he earned his M.Div. He has two boys who are loads of fun and lots of laughs, plus a Great Dane named Rex who keeps things interesting. This is Bob's second senior pastor position and he is loving being back in Southern California and is especially stoked to be at Oak Hills Covenant Church.
Alex is a San Diego native in his last year of the M.Div program at APU. A graduate of Westmont College in Santa Barbara where he studied psychology, Alex loves all things sports (including his newfound interest in water sports—thanks, Oak Hills youth!) and spending time with his best friend, his wife! They now reside in their new home in Vista where they are excited to engage the surrounding community. Previously a Wyldlife leader, and having worked alongside youth of all ages for over seven years, Alex is excited about sharing his faith with the next generation, strengthening families, and encouraging parents. |

Mike was born and raised right here in Vista. He is married to Jennifer and has three sons: Drew, Jake and Josh. Mike has been a worship leader for about 10 years. Mike loves leading worship and has a heart for encouraging people to participate in worship through music and in their daily lives.
